Usually I hate eating when I go on a long journey by bus. But I was unable to resist my hunger that day and was waiting for a refreshment stop. Somehow the bus sheltered near a highway hotel. The infrastructure of the hotel was pathetic and can attract only those who are really hungry (like my situation on that day). I had no other choice other than that hotel and so entered without any expectation.  Except the cashier the workers in the hotel were under 14. With shrunken face I ordered a dish and started to crunch. It was just an act of filling stomach to avoid my brain cells getting stale. When this act was in process, I noticed a small boy trying to fix a board on the wall. I was thinking that boy was displaying some price list and tried to have a look. But my position (the way I was seated) did not allow me to and so I gave up and continued to crunch. My lunch was over and a boy gave me the bill. The hotel was pathetic but not their rates! The cashier would have heard a sound of someone biting their teeth (it was me of course!) . The bill was cleared and I started to step out of the place.

         Out of curiosity to know the rates (which I felt was really high), I rushed to see the board the boy was trying to fix. And finally the board had  “Child labor strictly prohibited here”  sculptured on it.
