How can a living thing with a life span on an average of 60 to 70 years guess the age of earth? A thing before 500 years is a history and before that remains a mystery. And now the mortality of the world is assumed to be 21 December 2012. Story starts from Mayas who were  tribals of the past.They have guessed the lunar size which missed the exact value only by a few figures. The story goes like this : they follow a calendar which ends by the date December 2012. So some believe that world will end by 2012.  Guess what if the calendar gets over by 2012 ? Life starts from amoeba!!

             This is the most popular prophecy which makes everyone nod their head in one direction.Yes, it’s the prediction of Nostradamus . Before discussing the prediction let me introduce this man. He has predicted his own death (but couldn’t avoid it!!). He has covered his predictions in quatrains (4 lines poem) most of which has come true( even if not people make them true ) Some of his famous prophecies include twin towers incident, Kennedy’s and Hitler’s assassinations. And now one of his Quatrains says that world expires by 2012.

            Even if there are no strong scientific evidences that the world will end ,there are only these predictions which challenge the optimists and worry the pessimists. It is really possible to think that Nostradamus predictions will go wrong this time.Earlier he has said that by the year 2000 there might be a war which we knew never occurred.

            Let Mayas calendar do not end , at least for the sake that I can write a posting with the title “SUBSCRIPTION RENEWED” on December22 2012 !!
